CTS Family Real Reactions

Whether it’s the CTS Sport Wagon, the CTS Coupe or the CTS-V, there’s an irresistible appeal that leaves reviewers breathless. Here’s what they had to say.

“I own a 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe. I have had many comments about my car in various places. I have even been stopped while driving in a parking lot. Overall the comments have been about how sharp the car looks.”

- George High,
CTS Coupe owner

“I just picked my new 2010 CTS Sports Wagon up from the dealer and was on my way home. I pulled up to the lights and a BMW 323i pulled up beside me. I saw the driver and his friend both checking out my CTS and the driver looked at me, smiled and gave me the thumbs up. ”

- Lee Bassett,
2010 CTS Wagon owner

“This is a Sport Sedan... not your father's caddy! Emphasis on SPORT! Plenty of power and hugs the road like it was on rails! ”

- Paul,
about the 2010 CTS Sedan

“Road feel is excellent — a product of the optional performance handling suspension — and the V6 proved exceptionally spirited. If you want to squeal the tires a little and feel the rush that comes with being quickly propelled forward, you got it. Need to pass on the highway? Again, you have all the power needed. ”

- John and Sandra Turley-Ewart
The Daily News (Nanaimo), about the CTS Coupe

“It makes the German cars look like taxis. End of debate.”

The entertainment factor is off the charts in the CTS-V. It makes the German cars look like taxis. End of debate.

- Tom Gaskin
Wall Street Journal, about the CTS-V Coupe

“It’s too much awesome, and I want more.”

It's dangerously fun. It'll do 130 mph in fourth gear with the same ease that most of us associate with eating pudding. It’s too much awesome, and I want more.

- Ray Wert
Jalopnik, about the CTS-V Coupe

“I love the way it handles.”

I love the way it handles on the highway and the gas mileage is pretty good. The information centre is very useful. I drove 15 hours straight from the East Coast and the support provided by the front seat made me feel fresh on my arrival.

about the CTS Sport Sedan

“I constantly receive compliments from total strangers.”

Outstanding. A real eye-catching design — I constantly receive compliments from total strangers. And, the black cherry metallic paint is a big hit with everyone — lots of compliments on the design and colour.

about the CTS Sport Sedan

“I have kids tell me ‘nice car, cool car.’”

I have 3 cars and my favourite to drive is the Caddy. It's classy, sporty, sophisticated, and powerful when you need it… I love the design and how I feel when I drive the car. The best way to describe it is I feel proud driving such a nice car. I feel that it's powerful and classy all in one. I would put it up against any German sedan. It corners well and handles any road condition with ease. The “sport and snow flake” button is excellent… The extra performance you get in “sport mode” is quite noticeable, and in winter conditions the “snow flake” helps you keep the traction needed. When I drive down the street or park the car and I have kids tell me “nice car, cool car” to me that says it all.

“I like the handling and the power.”

This car is great with the traction control, ABS brakes, StabiliTrak and the 18 in. 50 ratio tires. I like the handling and the power. I also like the adaptive headlights and the high polished wheels.

- Louis Nemeth
Port Colborne, Ontario

“Just a dream to drive.”

A luxurious comfort ride with less road noise. Handling with ease and speed. Just a dream to drive. I am happy to have a rear wheel drive vehicle once again. There really is no need for AWD as this rear wheel with the added options out performs any vehicle on the road.
